This team is coordinated by RCIJ.

An initiative of three associations from Denmark (FUJ, DICAR and IMS) has launched a program to support the investigative journalism in Ukraine, financed by the Danish government. RCIJ participate at this project as a foreign expert. The project frame will also include some cross-border investigative reports, on major topics (like the arms-trade in the region) and will make investigative journalists from Romania, Bulgaria, Serbia, Moldova and Russia work together.

RCIJ will take part at the Global Investigative Journalism Conference in Copenhagen, between 1 and 4th of May. This conference will also mean the creation of a global network of investigative journalists. The network will consist on centres similar to RCIJ and senior investigative journalists from more than 40 countries.

RCIJ members will be active trainers for journalism students. The first activity in this sense is already in course (not on regularly basis) at the Bucharest Journalism and Communication University.

Mihai Vasile is heading a team of photojournalists, who will illustrate the investigative projects of RCIJ. They will also promote original initiatives, realized as individuals or as a team.
